“Helping property owners keep the home they worked so hard for.”
Elderly Stay-In-Home Program
There is a common stereotype of the elderly couple spending their golden years in their own home. It’s the image of senior citizens who have lived in a home for many years, comfortable with each other and their surroundings — reluctant to change or move, content, as they should be. Perhaps they live in paid-for homes; or maybe they have saved money all their lives and have robust bank accounts; it’s possible their children are prepared to support them in return for the years of love and care as the children grew.
However, as the last several years has proved, this is not always the case — in fact, it is far from the truth. in many cases, increased property taxes, reverse mortgage problems, and mortgage payment difficulties, increased medical expenses, and other factors have decreased the equity and cash reserves of seniors, causing the homes of many to be lost to foreclosure or tax auction.
You could live in your own home for the rest of your life or until you decide to move…
In other words, just live freely and comfortably in the home that you have right now.
We offer several special programs, one of which will probably fit your circumstances.
And after that?
With our Elderly Stay-In-Home Program you can choose what happens to the equity in your home after you pass on.
When you no longer need your house, it is sold and the proceeds can be dispersed in any number of ways:
- Your choice of charity,
- Paid out to your heirs in monthly or annual payments,
- Paid to your estate,
- Or a blend of any of the above.
Let’s discuss the possibilities. There’s no cost to you. You choose what you want to do.
